About the Restoration and Stewardship Program

The Stewardship and Restoration Program is committed to the continued growth and promotion of ecological management, by means of partnerships with NGOs, private landowners and other agencies, through on-the-ground projects, education and stewardship.

Our Biologists, Ecologists, Foresters and Community Outreach Specialists work with others to restore the watersheds natural environment through planting projects, education and wetland and stream restoration

The vast majority of the watershed’s lands and waters are privately owned and therefore building partnerships with our residents and other stakeholders is key to the long term protection of this important resource.
