Peel Rural Water Quality Program
Established in 2005, the Peel Rural Water Quality Program (PRWQP) is a clean water program that provides financial and technical assistance for rural private landowners in Peel Region.
The PRWQP was developed through input from local farmers and residents as well as representatives from the Peel Federation of Agriculture and the Peel Soil and Crop Improvement Association. It is delivered in a partnership with Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) and Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA). The Peel Agricultural Advisory Working Group (PAAWG) has been appointed by the Region of Peel as the approval committee for the program.
