About Land Planning and Conservation Areas Programs
The Land Planning and Conservation Areas Program involves innovative planning, programming and securement through the coordination and appropriate management of authority lands. This is necessary to ensure the protection, appreciation and recreation of CVC's Lands and thereby facilitates our watershed lands as centres for environmental learning.
Land Planning and Conservation Areas staff secure important Greenlands, ensure that our lands are properly managed and we provide opportunities to the public for nature appreciation and recreation.
We believe that by increasing the publics appreciation of the environmental significance of our watershed it will lead to enhanced long term protection.
