Canoes & kayaks start leaving from Erindale Park at 10:00 am

Mississauga Canoe Club, Port Credit.

Shuttle bus service is provided. You will need to:

1. Drop off your canoe and equipment at Erindale Park (our volunteers will watch it for you) by 9:00 a.m.
2. Proceed to the Mississauga Canoe Club to drop off your car
3. Return by bus to Erindale Park to start your paddle down the Credit River .
4. Finish your paddle at Mississauga Canoe Club, where your car will be waiting for you!

Opens at 8:30 am at Erindale Park . ( Portage canoe 200m to bank of Credit. Volunteers available to help.)

Experience paddling on moving water / white water

ABS or polyethylene canoes and kayaks recommended. Cedar strip or canvas boats not recommended

Mostly swift water, a few rapids

Canadian-approved personal flotation device or lifejacket of appropriate size must be worn, whistle, bailer and buoyant heaving line no less than 15 m (49'3") in length on board. Helmets recommended. Bring a change of clothing in waterproof bags.

For those who are pre-registered, simply show up, drop off your pledges and pledge form, sign your waiver and you're ready to be launched.

Those who have not pre-registered are required to go through a 10 minute safety training prior to launching.
