CVC's Tree Planting Program

To promote private land reforestation and stewardship, Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) offers a variety of inexpensive tree planting services and materials to eligible landowners living within the Credit River Watershed. CVC’s experienced staff will assist private landowners in restoring and improving their property through the planting and supplying of trees, shrubs and seedlings.

Please contact CVC about the 2007 season, or click here for more information.

The MFTIP is a voluntary program that provides lower property taxes to landowners who agree to certain conditions including preparing and following a managed forest plan for their forest. The plan must be approved by a person designated by the MNR as a Managed Forest Plan Approver. A searchable database of plan approvers is also available on the site.

Visit the Private Forests section of the Ministry of Natural Resources website for further information.
